Before your wedding we like to sit down with you and discuss all details about your wedding. This gives us a feel for what you are looking for in your video. If there is something that you want to see in the video, please let us know beforehand to ensure we will capture it. Let us know what is important to you, so every moment is captured.
-What happens if we want something changed in the video after you already gave it to us? Return to top
At Era Productions we provide you with a proof complementary copy of the DVD before we give you the final copies. This way you can watch the DVD and if there are any slight changes you would like made, we can do that for you. After you watched the proof copy, and notify us of any changes, we will then proceed to produce the final copies for you.
-Do you have professional video equipment that you use? Return to top
Yes, we have 3CCD broadcasting quality cameras which provide crystal clear sound and image. We use shotgun microphones to pick up better sound, and we have Sony tripods that are top of the line. For darker areas we have external lights that we use as well.
-Do you have letters of recommendation that we can see? Return to top
Yes we do, we have many letters from brides and grooms that we have worked with. We can provide you with these testimonials at your request. If you would like to contact anyone who wrote us a testimonial we can arrange that for you as well.
-Is the second camera angle just for backup, or do you film the entire day with two cameras? Return to top
We film the entire day with two cameras which allows for complete views of your wedding. With two camera angles we have a better variety of shots to use in your video. For example when the bride is walking down the aisle we have one camera filming her, and one camera filming the groom’s reactions. When we create the video we incorporate both camera angles so the video is more personal, and exciting.
-Do you give us a written contract with all the details provided? Return to top
For every wedding we create a contract that incorporates all the details we agreed on. If there is anything that we left out of the contract do not hesitate to let us know.
-Are travel expenses included in all packages? Return to top
We do not charge travel expenses if the wedding is in the tri-cities and surrounding area. However, traveling expenses will be discussed for further distances.
-How soon after the wedding will we receive the video from you? Return to top
We do our best to have the video completed as soon as possible. If we have all the information we need to start the video (music selection) we usually have it finished within 2-4 weeks. (Subject to change depending on external circumstances.)
-What are your payment terms? And what do you accept in terms of payment? Return to top
We take 40% down payment when you book the wedding date with us. At this time we will write up the contract, and we require 40% payment 2 weeks before your wedding day, and the remaining balance will be collected when the final DVD copies are received. We accept cash or cheque.
-What is your return policy? Return to top
At Era Productions we want you to be 100% satisfied with our services. That is why we provide a proof copy of the video before we give you the final copies. If the final DVD is defective, or there is some kind of problem with it, we will adjust any problems for you. You must notify us within the first 96 hours if there are problems, any changes after that there will be an extra charge.
